DAAB Links for 3/17/2008
Scott Densmore posted on how to get Enterprise Libraries installed and functional with Visual Studio 2008. For those you already using the DataDirect Data Access Application Blocks this gives you all the tools, plus the continued benefits that I've blogged about before in the latest Visual Studio IDE.

Dear Jonathan Bruce,
My name is Luis Ramirez. I’m owner and creator of www.sqlnetframework.com. I’m looking for a business partner to merchandise the SqlNetFramework. The SqlNetFramework is a compelling alternative to the Microsoft Data Access Application Block. I think that the SqlNetFramework would be an excellent tool to promote, even more, the Data Direct connect ADO.NET providers between the .NET community.
The SqlNetFramework is easier to use than DAAB, reduces more lines than DAAB, promotes database portability and promotes SQL reutilization isolating the SQL code in an independent repository (XML, SqlServer, Oracle, etc). The developers can test their SQL code without executing their application because all the SQL can be created and tested using the SqlEditor GUI application.
I hope that your company consider the SqlNetFramework an interesting development tool for your customers and as a new tool that can help you to increase your revenues.
For me would be a pleasure to have a talk to you to discuss the SqlNetFramework business opportunity.
Sincerely,
Luis Ramirez
SqlNetFramework Owner and Chief Architect.
